Your data
Your company owns its data and manages its own users. FleetMate processes it only to provide the service, under the data processing agreement. You can export your records at any time while your account exists.
Payments
Commercial subscriptions are paused until further notice. Paid invitations and plan selection are disabled. Free invitation-only trials last 30 days, with no card, no charges and no automatic conversion.
Service limitations
- GPS, maps and alerts depend on phones, permissions, signal and networks. Web/PWA background location is not guaranteed; no native app exists yet.
- No traffic, ETA, toll, charge-zone or HGV-restriction data is provided unless a provider is connected and labelled as such. Official sources and road signs prevail.
- In-app job email and push notifications are not connected; operational alerts are in-app only. Privacy requests use a separate email contact channel.
- The service is provided with reasonable care and skill but without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Acceptable use
Do not track people outside authorised work, use the app while driving, upload unlawful content, or try to access other companies' data.
Suspension and closure
We may suspend accounts for security or misuse, keeping data readable. You can request closure; data is handled under the retention schedule.
Liability
Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability is limited to direct losses reasonably foreseeable, capped at the fees paid in the previous 12 months (currently nil, as no fees are charged).
Law
England and Wales.
