Free 30-day trial terms

Trials are by personal invitation to a named business email. The link works once, for 7 days, and only for that verified email. One trial per company.

• 30 days (720 hours) from verified acceptance, free, invitation only. Each business needs individual approval; its single-use link expires after 7 days. Account registration alone grants no company access. No card is taken, nothing is charged, and the trial never turns into a paid plan automatically. Commercial subscriptions are paused indefinitely; no paid purchase is available.
• When the trial ends your company becomes read-only: you can still view and export your records and make closure/erasure requests. Records are kept according to the retention schedule, not deleted at expiry.
• GPS works only during an active work job, after the driver presses Start tracking and allows location on their phone. FleetMate can't override a refused permission.
• In a phone browser or installed web app, background location is not guaranteed — iPhone in particular pauses it when locked, on calls or in other apps. Updates aim for about every 10 minutes but delivery is not guaranteed. A native iPhone/Android app is not available yet.
• No live traffic, ETA, road miles, toll or charge-zone prices, or lorry/HGV route checks are provided unless a provider is connected (none is today). ULEZ/CAZ/toll warnings are reminders only — official sources and actual road signs decide what applies.
• Drivers must not use the phone while driving. Report road events only when safely stopped; call 999 in an emergency.
• If you track employees you are the controller: tell drivers, use a lawful basis, and complete a DPIA before relying on location data.
• Any demo map uses synthetic positions clearly labelled as such; no real driver is tracked in a demo.

Ending early, extensions

A company admin can end the trial at any time. FleetMate may extend or end a trial, with a recorded reason. You'll see in-app reminders 7 days, 3 days and 24 hours before the end (email reminders are not connected).
